PLANO – The Plano East Panthers have the bragging rights over the Plano West Wolves once again.

On the back of Travis Agee’s phenomenal night that saw him run for 158 yards, Plano East beat Plano West 27-14 on Friday evening at John Clark Stadium.

After starting the game with a 38-yard field goal by Blake Letourneau, Plano East (4-0, 2-0 District 6-6A) found the endzone on their second drive on a 20-yard touchdown catch by Ryan Fariello from Jackson Hays. Another field goal by Letourneau capped off the first quarter and gave Plano East a 13-0 lead.

Plano West (0-4, 0-2) scored the lone touchdown of the quarter, making the game tight at the half. The Panthers quickly did away with that close score, however, scoring a touchdown on their opening drive of the second half.

It was Agee’s five-yard touchdown run with 10:32 remaining in the game that iced the victory away for Plano East.

The Panthers return home next Friday to play Prosper.
