As a city grows, so does its need for an updated city charter.
Since January, the Charter Review Commission has been working with the city attorney and city staff to make recommendations to the charter. City council will have the opportunity to review the changes and make any of their own before it will ultimately be put to the voters for approval.
However, before the changes are reviewed by council, the 11-member commission held a town hall meeting Tuesday, April 12, to give residents a chance to review the recommendations and provide input.
