Diners can eat a traditional egg breakfast or indulge in a skillet chicken or steak meal at the Scrambler Cafe in Murphy.

Or they can have pancakes or French toast.

Whatever the appetite or culinary preference, they can treat themselves to numer­ous dishes at the cafe, which opened in early January at 231 E. FM 544, suite 709.

Open for breakfast and lunch, the cafe has another lo­cation in Plano.

“A true family affair,” said owner Tim Ramo, about the two Scrambler Cafes.

Ramo was born and raised in the Chicago area and has been in the restaurant business for 22 years. He had restau­rants in the suburbs of Chica­go and came to North Texas to continue to pursue the Ameri­can Dream.
