Murphy City Councilmembers want more information before they sign off, so to speak, on a request for a variance for a sign posted in a shopping strip.
The council on Dec. 1 approved tabling a sign variance for a planned development in a shopping strip at 601 E. FM 544.
Applicant John Shepperson wants the city to allow a third monument sign, when only two are permitted, for Kiddie Academy of Murphy. The applicant asks the city to allow what is deemed as an “off-premise” sign.
