Into the fray

Qualifying for the Class 6A Region I boys soccer playoffs was no easy task.

Plano East (11-6-3 overall, as of Monday, March 26) battled injuries and sickness to claim the second seed out of District 6-6A.

“It shows that all the hard work does pay off in the end,” PESH head coach Rick Woodard said. “The players learned when your number’s called you have to step up. No matter if you’re playing three minutes or 20. You have to take advantage of your opportunities and the boys did just that.”
