Panel discusses water quality

More tests are conducted on water that comes from the tap than the water in bottles purchased at stores, members of The League of Women Voters in Collin County learned at a meeting on water quality held last week in Plano.

Speaking at the informational meeting were Billy George, Assistant Deputy Director of Water for North Texas Municipal Water District; Gerald Cosgrove, Director of Public Works with the city of Plano; and David Brown, Director of Public Works with the city of McKinney. Serving as moderator was Katie McCain, Past President of American Water Works Association.
