The Murphy Police Department received no complaints of racial profiling in regard to traffic stops made in 2023, a consultant reported.
The annual report presented to the March 5 Murphy City Council meeting also found the department was fully in compliance with the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure.
In other business, council approved zoning language regulating short-term property rentals and set a $350 initial registration fee for such rentals.
