Mardi Gras Masquerade

Bright colors, beads and feathers were in abundance last Friday during the Murphy Chamber of Commerce’s Mardi Gras themed awards banquet at the Hyatt Place in Garland.

Jon Lashbrook with State Farm Insurance was named the Business of the Year.

Selected as the New Member of the Year was PDQ, presented to Talor Isbon.

Gail Roden was honored as the Volunteer of the Year.

Kristen Roberts accepted the Business that Continues to Impact award for the Murphy Municipal Development District.

Tabbed as co-Members of the Year were Dr. Jim Moebius D.V.M. of Murphy Road Animal Shelter and Zane Shephard with Allstate Insurance.

Marcia Jowers was honored with the Legacy award for 2015.

Aaron Tharp, TJ Ahmed, Marv Williams and Gail Roden were recognized for their service to the board of directors as they stepped down from their positions.
