School of Rock officially celebrated its arrival in Murphy with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony June 20, offering local students and adults a chance to learn music through a performance-based approach that emphasizes playing songs, working in bands and performing live.
The Murphy location, which opened March 3, is part of a franchise group that also operates School of Rock campuses in McKinney, North Dallas and Rockwall. General Manager Jessica Zervakos said the program is designed to make music accessible to beginners while helping more experienced musicians continue to grow.
