With thousands of seniors set to walk the stage at this month’s commencement exercises, the Plano ISD is making sure every name is pronounced clearly and correctly.
Based on feedback from previous graduations, the district has purchased an artificial intelligence software package for use during ceremonies at all three senior high school commencements and Academy High School, said Zoheb Hassanali, assistant director of communications for PISD.
“Many colleges and universities use software programs like this, and we believe both of these features will provide an enhancement to the graduation experience,” Hassanali said.
