More than a dozen civic leaders, educators and business professionals shared their experiences and contributions in a seminar sponsored by the Murphy Chamber of Commerce.
“Leading the Way: Celebrating Women in Murphy … Her Story, Our Town” was held Thursday, March 26, at Murphy City Hall.
The program brought local women together for an evening focused on leadership, service and community impact.
The master of ceremonies was longtime Murphy resident Monica Landeros-Jimenez, a senior communications specialist for the city of Allen. She’s a former television news personality with extensive experience in city government and public relations.
Keynote speaker Vernessa Cole, a leadership development coach and founder of the #IMULTIPLY framework, focused on building sustainable leadership and developing people alongside performance.
