Plano East had 12 student-athletes sign a National Letter of Intent on Feb. 4.

Six of those signees were from the Panthers football team. Marvae Butts will compete for the University of Central Missouri. Jaire Scott and Gabe Berliner will team up at Midland University. Jackson Howard will play at Harding University. Abdullhi Mahdi will compete for Ottawa University, and Jace Boutte made it official with Colorado State Pueblo.

From the Plano East baseball team, Tristan Parker signed with Arkansas State University–Three Rivers, while Ricky Clemens will play for Dodge City Community College.

Savannah Leonard will play softball for Genesee Community College in New York. Before then, she will look to help lead the Plano East softball team back to the regional final.

Malachai Terry will run track for the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Mialey Villanueva Morga will wrestle for Defiance College.

Sofia Tepechin, who helped lead the Lady Panthers soccer team to their first playoff berth in 15 years last season, signed with Saint Vincent College.
