Callison appointed to Collin College board

by | Jan 22, 2026 | Education, Latest

Glenn B. Callison is set to be appointed to serve Place 1 on the Collin College Board of Trustees, college officials announced Jan. 14.

Callison will serve in the position until the next regular board election in May 2027. The Place 1 term expires in May 2029.

Board of Trustees Chair Jay Saad said the college received strong interest for the vacancy and praised Callison’s background and service to the community.

“I am so appreciative of all the amazing candidates who applied for this position. Collin College is such a tremendous organization, and I love how the community responded to this opening,” said Saad. “Glenn Callison is a dedicated servant-leader, and we are privileged to have him on our team.”

Callison in an equity shareholder attorney with Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C., where he focuses on real estate law. He has served as outside general counsel for several organizations, including Whitman Peterson Partners and a publicly traded real estate investment trust.

His community involvement includes serving as a past chair of the Collin College Foundation, current chair of the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center–Plano board, and current president of the NAIOP North Texas Real Estate Association Board.

Callison said he looks forward to serving the college and supporting its students.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor from Baylor University and Baylor Law School. He has also received recognition from multiple legal organizations for his work in the field.

Callison will be sworn in during the Collin College Board of Trustees meeting Jan. 30. He fills the vacancy left by Trustee Megan Wallace, who resigned last year following a relocation.

Collin College serves approximately 60,000 credit and continuing education students each year and offers more than 200 degrees and certificates. Programs include bachelor’s degrees in nursing, cybersecurity, construction management, clinical operations management and software development. Based in Collin County, the college partners with businesses, government and industry to provide workforce development and customized training.
