A young Spider-man hangs tightly to a big pumpkin on a haunted house ride at the Murphy Skele-bration, Friday, Oct. 24.
The scariest thing Friday, Oct. 24, was the weather forecast. So, Murphy Parks & Recreation moved the annual Skele-bration indoors.

The costume contest, sponsored by Hood PTA, drew entries in a wide range of age groups with some of the younger participants unsure which direction to walk on the red carpet.

“Don’t forget your pony,” another told a pint-sized Woody from “Toy Story.”
