The Plano East Panthers were unable to fully capitalize on momentum early in the game in a 48-14 home loss to the Royse City Bulldogs on Friday, Aug. 29 from Tom Kimbrough Stadium.
Although the Panthers were able to score the first points of the game on their third drive, it would be the only time they led. Royse City (1-0) scored 28 unanswered points in the first half en route to a 34-point blowout victory over the Panthers.
Plano East (0-1) forced two turnovers to begin possession on the Bulldogs side of the field in the first quarter, but were only able to score on one drive, with Treyce Seldon taking a handoff from 13 yards out for a touchdown and a 7-0 Princeton lead.
The Panthers return to action next Friday at North Forney.
