The city of Murphy closed the third quarter of its 2024-25 fiscal year with strong fund balances across its operations, according to Controller Paulette Overman.
The unaudited financial report presented to the Tuesday, Aug. 5, meeting of the City Council covered activity through June 30. Overman said it showed steady revenues, controlled expenditures and no immediate need for fiscal contingencies.
