Water mains and road repairs top the list of major infrastructure projects to be funded over the next four years by $18.39 million in Certificates of Obligation. The ordinance, approved at Murphy City Council’s Thursday, July 31, budget session, finalizes the issuance following approval of a resolution May 20.
That action provided a notice of intent to issue up to $23 million in certificates.
Funds raised through the certificates will support a range of projects, including water service line replacements, street reconstruction, and the purchase of updated software for public safety operations.
