Plans for a residential development between Parker and Murphy drew mixed reactions during a lengthy town hall meeting led by Dallas social media marketer Jordan Ramirez, the husband of internet influencer Dani Austin, who calls herself a “goofy mom.”
Ramirez positioned himself as a peace broker between the cities, residents and the development team previously linked to Dallas developers Phillip and Donald Huffines.
He introduced his initiative as “Project Homestead,” although that would not be the name of the neighborhood. He added the plan was not finalized and emphasized that the June 30 deadline cited in early drafts of a development agreement was misunderstood.
