Keep Murphy Beautiful and Republic Services challenged students to depict their vision of a Recycle Hero, with winning artwork to be displayed on recycling trucks.
The contest closed Feb. 28, and entries are now on display in the lobby of City Hall, 206 N. Murphy Road. Winners will be announced at the Tuesday, April 15, council meeting.
The annual competition was open to students from kindergarten through 10th grade who live in Murphy or attend school in Murphy.
