The Murphy Veterans Tribute (MVT) has received its largest single donation to date. The project will have three flagpoles and Dr. Lorraine Chalkley, founder of Southfork Animal Clinic, pledged $30,000 for the central pole that will display the U.S. flag.
“This commitment is instrumental in bringing the vision of the Murphy Veterans Tribute to life,” MVT said. “Dr. Chalkley’s generosity helps us take another significant step toward creating a space where our community can honor and remember the bravery and dedication of our veterans.”
The veterinarian’s pledge was part of the MVT “Patriots of 2025” fundraising campaign for the 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
