Plano East senior forward D.J. Hall and freshman guard Arianna Robinson have been named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Class 6A All-State Team.
Robinson averaged 23 points and seven rebounds during the playoffs to lead the Lady Panthers’ girls basketball team to the state semifinals for the first time in program history. She scored 31 points in Plano East’s 61-51 loss to Cedar Hill in the Class 6A Division I state semifinals on Feb. 25. Robinson, who holds more than 20 NCAA Division I college offers, was also named the District 6-6A offensive player of the year.
Hall, meanwhile, was selected to the all-state team for the second year in a row. One year after he was named the state tournament MVP for leading the Plano East boys’ basketball team to a 40-0 record and their first state championship in program history, Hall, a Texas State signee, garnered unanimous district MVP this season. Hall averaged 24.6 points and nine rebounds. The Panthers finished the 2024-25 season with a 25-6 record and were a bi-district finalist.
Additionally, sophomore guard Kennedy Borders earned a nod on the TABC’s Region 1-6A team. She made two free throws with 11 seconds left in the fourth quarter to seal a 49-45 win for the Lady Panthers over North Crowley in the Region 1-6A final on Feb. 20.
