Apple, the Murphy Fire-Rescue facility dog, attended the staff Christmas party with Assistant Chief Joe Flowers.
Most Murphy residents responding to a community survey said they would refer the city to a friend as a good place to live.
“Your score of 72 is very solid, said Ron Gailey of OnPointe Insights. “It’s a good, strong score there. I’ve seen a few stronger, not many, and a lot weaker. So, you’re doing very, very well as a city.”
Gailey presented results of the survey to the Tuesday, Dec. 3, meeting of the Murphy City Council.
