A brother and sister prepare for a Ballistic ride spin at Murphy’s 15th Annual Maize Days.
About 10,000 people attended this year’s Maize Days “cornival” held Saturday, Oct. 5, in Murphy Central Park, Special Events Coordinator Ashley Hudson reported to the City Council.
More than half the attendees came from Murphy, with Wylie residents running a close second, she said.
Hudson said 9% of people responding to a survey said they were attending for the first time and 94% said they would come again next year.
