Murphy’s new spring festival will be a matter of taste – and scope. Special Events Coordinator Ashley Hudson presented two proposals to the Tuesday, June 4, meeting of the Murphy City Council.
Councilmembers voted reluctantly in February to cancel the Tunes, Tails & Ales event after the vendor raised the price by almost two-thirds, leaving nearly $60,000 in the budget.
