It’s been an exciting spring for the Plano East football program, as the Panthers held an intrasquad scrimmage last Saturday, May 11 at Kimbrough Stadium. After making thew playoffs this past fall, Plano East fans got their first glimpse of the team since their opening-round loss to Prosper last November.
Coach Tony Benedetto has been pushing the Panthers this spring, as they look to return to the postseason for a second straight year. However, the goal is to do much more than just make it back to the playoffs.
Coach Benedetto wants his team to start setting their sights on making a run in the postseason, and last weekend’s scrimmage was a good indication of how far the team has come since that loss to Prosper.
