A long line of vehicles – more than 40 pickups, hatchbacks, sedans and an open Jeep – stretched along City Hall Circle back to North Murphy Road as residents lined up to throw away trash or recycle items they’d been accumulating all winter.
The event started at 9 a.m. and by 11 there had been 486 dropoffs for the city’s spring Clean & Green event — “and we’ve got an hour to go,” said Dawnelle Collings with Keep Murphy Beautiful.
