The Lady Panthers got on the board this season with a much-needed district win over the Marcus Lady Marauders.
Needing to turn the season around quickly with the hopes of still making the playoffs, Plano East put one in the win column with a 54-34 victory the previous Tuesday, Dec. 11.
East opened the game with a dominant stretch in the first half, leading by as much as 20 points while playing relentless on the defensive end. The Marcus girls had no answers for PESH’s length on the defensive end, getting shut out in the second frame after sxoring just six points in the first quarter.
