ALLEN – Plano East’s special volleyball season came to a close last Tuesday, Nov. 7, in the Regional Quarterfinals.

The Lady Panthers took on Prosper in the third round of the playoffs, with the ninth-ranked Lady Eagles eventually gaining the edge and advancing with a 3-0 (23-25, 22-25, 25-27) victory. All three sets came down to the wire, ending by three points or less. Unfortunately for Plano East, it was Prosper’s perseverance at the end of each set to come out on top.
