Murphy officials want to keep using part of the city’s sales tax revenue to fix streets and sidewalks.
So next month’s ballot will ask voters to re-authorize funding approved four years ago. Voters agreed in 2019 to use one-quarter of 1% of the sales and use tax for the street and sidewalk repair and maintenance program.
