Cancer patient to walk gala runway

Eight-year-old Drew Lowsley of Murphy is one of the pediatric cancer patients featured in the 33rd Annual Children’s Cancer Fund “Light It Up” Gala in Dallas.

Drew, who has leukemia, will join other young patients during the fashion show portion of the event to be held Friday, April 21, at the Hilton Anatole. They were introduced Thursday, March 16, at Northpark Center.

The participants were welcomed by Dallas Cowboys stars Troy Aikman and Dak Prescott, serving as honorary chairmen of the event, and Babe Laufenberg, the host.
