Plano East survives a nail-biter to win their home opener 47-40 over Garland Naaman Forest.

Three of those went to wide receiver Rushil Patel, who led the team with six catches for 129 yards and three touchdowns. Daniel Fayombo racked up 253 all-purpose yards and a combined three touchdowns in the win as well. The Panthers scored 45 or more points for the first time since the 2018 season, the last time they also started a season 2-0.
