Plano ISD teachers will soon see a pay increase after the board of trustees approved a compensation plan for the 2022-23 school year during the May 17 meeting.
Assistant Superintendent for Employee Services Beth Brockman said most district employees will receive a 3% raise while teachers, librarians and nurses will receive a 4% pay increase.
The starting salary for a teacher with a bachelor’s degree with no experience will increase from $56,000 to $58,250, and teachers with a master’s degree and with no experience will see a pay increase from $58,000 to $60,250.
