Kayla Cooper suited up for what might be her last game at Plano East.
The senior guard has missed most of the season with a leg injury but scored the first basket of the game in Plano East’s 68-29 victory over Marcus on Tuesday night.
The Lady Panthers (13-1, 23-4) jumped out to a 42-13 halftime lead and never looked back. Senior Donavia Hall led all scorers with 23 points in the win.
Plano East now gears up for the playoffs after a share of the District 6-6A championship. They’ll play Prosper on Monday night. The location for the game is to be determined.
