Many families develop Christmas traditions throughout the years. Sometimes it is a tradition meant to pay respects to previous generations, but other times it develops by happenstance.
Sometimes it’s a little bit of both.
Eleven years ago Julie Lawson of Wylie was at Hobby Lobby browsing the Christmas aisles when a jolly-looking man caught her eye.
“I walked past an aisle and did a double-take,” Lawson said. “I stood there on the next aisle thinking, did I just see Santa talking to someone?”
