Murphy team wins Primetime National Championship

F-5 Elite, a Primetime bas­ketball team located in Murphy, took home first place at the Na­tional Championships on Sun­day, July 25.

The team, compromised of mostly 15-year-olds who go to McMillan High School in Mur­phy, have played together for the better part of the last four years. Led by head coach Matt Mitchell and Brett Buchanan during that time, they’ve begun to reach unprecedented heights.
