Murphy resident and Premier Christian Academy executive director Sara Cotton wants parents to know they are welcome at the academy..
Cotton, along with staff of the newly opened preschool and daycare located at 151 Brand Rd. in Murphy, wants parents to have peace-of-mind by personally knowing their child’s teacher, seeing the rooms they will be in, receiving updates on their child’s activities and having schedule flexibility.
“We want the parents to come in. I would never drop my child off anywhere I’m not allowed in the building,” Cotton said. “I’ve been told by parents that most daycares are not allowing parents to come in.”
Cotton, who has over 20 years of experience in the education field, understands that some daycares have restricted parent access due to COVID-19 regulations. She says that Premier Christian Academy staff adhere to those regulations while providing the comfort parents need when leaving their child with them.
