Although “pivot” has been a well-used buzz word when making accommodations due to COVID-19, at Red Door Dance Academy in Wylie they have chosen to go beyond the pivot and pirouette their way toward keeping their dancers en pointe.
“Like everything else in the world, COVID has turned our industry upside down,” said Marisa Mailhes, owner of Red Door Dance Academy. “With dance being a performing art and something that involves being around large groups of people, we have really had to reimagine how we do all things.”
