Costumed children dangled their treat gathering receptacles from car windows at the inaugural Drive-Thru Trick-or-Treat event hosted by the city of Murphy. The long trail of cars snaked from north and south Murphy Road into the Murphy Municipal Complex then through the horseshoe drive behind city hall for the two-hour event held Friday, Oct. 30.
Car-bound trick-or-treaters were awarded for their patience as sweets and treats were distributed by an array of city staff and local business representatives dressed in spirited holiday garb.
