A Collin County Historical Marker recognizing the farm of Murphy pioneers Comfort Allen and Lydia McMillen was unveiled in a ceremony Saturday, Sept. 19
The marker is located on N. Murphy Road at the veterinary clinic of Dr. Lorraine Chalkley. The 10-acre clinic property is the largest parcel of the original farm that has been sold to developers over the years.
