The new s school year brings new opportunities to volunteer with Plano ISD. Whether a new or returning volunteer, those interested in donating their time and skills will need to create an account with the new volunteer management system, VOLY. There, they can fill out an application, consent to a background check and complete a required volunteer orientation. Potential volunteers should allow three to five business days after completing their application for it to be processed.
Those who want to volunteer, but do not have access to an email can sign up using their phone numbers. Applicants should also note that the orientation cannot be taken on a mobile device. For more information on how to volunteer with PISD, visit the www.planoisd.edu/volunteer.
