Murphy City Council last week approved a professional services agreement with Texas Coalition for Affordable Power that employs a new model for purchasing electricity through a constant process of contracting with wholesale providers.
The council met in regular session Tuesday, Sept. 1. Other business included starting the process for making boards and commission appointments, and approving a contract making it easier to share information electronically in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
