Lady Pirates ready to win district title, compete for playoffs

With nine seniors on the roster, the Lady Pirates have high expectations for the upcoming season.

They take the court to start the 2020 volleyball season after a strong season in 2019, finishing with a 21-16 record, but a strong district performance put them in the playoffs. Their 12-2 record in the district put them just behind Sachse and set up a contest with McK­inney Boyd in the first round, which they lost in straight sets.
