Mayor hits the open road for annual trip

This summer, Scott Brad­ley, mayor of Murphy and IT professional, answered the call of the open road just as he has done for over 10 years.

The Harley riding enthu­siast experienced the thrill of going the distance when he took his first road trip in 2002 with his brother. An Illinois resident at the time, Bradley and his brother, a South Dako­ta resident, planned the trip as a way to spend time together. They decided to meet midway and ride their motorcycles to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, an annual event held in Stur­gis, S.D.
