This past spring two Wylie High School students, Brayden Willoughby, 15, and Cooper Widener, 17, displayed all those traits all during their first year of competition. The result was an eighth-place finish at the June 6 Texas High School Bass Association (THSBA) regional tournament on Lake Tawakoni, a finish that earned them a spot in the July 25 THSBA state tournament at Belton Lake in Belton.
