WISD board approves pilot program

by | Nov 28, 2019 | Education

Wylie Independent School District trustees last week approved a pilot program to better serve students who have emotional issues that affect their learning, elected new officers and heard a presentation about restructuring debt.

The board met in regular session Monday, Nov. 18, at the Educational Service Center, 951 S. Ballard Ave.

Assistant Superintendent Scott Winn presented a proposal for the district to contract with Catapult Learning of Camden, N.J., to establish a specialized learning model to serve students who are struggling in classes because of social-emotional problems.
