A year after making a first request, a Murphy property owner was given permission by the city council to subdivide a 3-acre tract on Bunny Run into three lots.
In giving permission, the council waived an ordinance requiring that the property owner improve the street to city standards, accepting instead a 25-foot width of right-of-way along the property for future road improvements.
