The fall Clean and Green event, a time when Murphy residents can dispose of unwanted household hazardous waste and electronic items, is set for Saturday, Oct. 12.
The semi-annual event will be held at the Murphy City Hall driveways, 206 N. Murphy Road, and features a drive through, drop-off format. Clean and Green opens at 9 a.m., closes at noon and is free to all Murphy residents.
