The city of Murphy conducted a pair of town hall meetings last week to explain an increase in stormwater utility fees slated to go into effect Oct. 1.
The meetings were conducted Thursday, Aug. 22, and Saturday, Aug. 24. Murphy City Council will conduct a public hearing on the fee increases on Sept. 10 prior to a vote to adopt the new fee schedule.
