Plano Independent School District trustees last week approved an amendment to the 2019-20 budget that reflects changes in public school financing dictated by the 86th Texas Legislature.
The bottom line for PISD is that it will send $95 million less in property tax revenue to the state for distribution to property poor school districts as had been required under school financing formulas.
