Long-time club coach accepts PESH job

Plano East recently hired its next head volleyball coach.

They selected East teacher and longtime club coach Cathy Manderson.

“I missed the school environment and really wanted an opportunity to make a difference in a program. Something I could pour my heart and soul into,” she said. “I was told about Plano East needing a volleyball coach and immediately pursued it.”

She replaces Jennessa Gattis, who took over for Scott Sandel midway through the 2018 season.
